Harcourts Mt Eden and Henderson Reeves Presents the MENPS Cultural Festival 2025 - the MENPS PTA is excited to invite you to be a vital part of our annual Cultural Festival, which this year includes the thrilling Dragon Boat Festival!
It's all happening on Saturday, June 7th, from 12 pm to 3 pm.
This vibrant afternoon celebrates the diverse cultures within our school community, featuring exciting dragon boat races alongside cultural performances, activities, and delicious food. To make this special event a success for our tamariki, we need your wonderful support!
We have a variety of volunteer roles available, both leading up to and on the day. Whether you're passionate about helping with event finance, ensuring smooth activities, keeping things tidy, or cheering on the dragon boat teams, we have a spot for you!

Cultural Festival Food Stall
We’re running a bake & dessert sale and a savoury dish stall at the Cultural Festival on Saturday 7th June, and we’d love your help!
Please consider bringing a homemade dish that represents a taste of home – sweet or savoury, from any culture.
- Drop-off: From 11am at the food stall
- No nuts, please
- Label with:
- Name of the dish
- Full list of ingredients

Token Cards - cashless event
All food and paid activity stalls at our event accept token cards for payments.
Token cards are available for purchase via Eftpos at our ‘Bank’ located in the staff room near the Hall - on the day of the event.
- Each $10 card provides 5 $2 tokens that will be clipped at any of the food or activity stalls
Please note some activities and the performances are free and do not require payment.
Pre-order your zongzi dumplings - limited time only!
To celebrate the Cultural Festival, the MENPS PTA is excited to offer a special limited-time pre-sale of traditional zong zi dumplings!
These delicious sticky rice dumplings, wrapped in bamboo leaves and filled with savoury or sweet ingredients, are a wonderful way to enjoy and share an important part of Chinese culture.
